I've had this guitar for about a year now and I'm pretty impressed with the quality. Being a soloist, a slim body and neck are expected and they are present in this guitar. There's a certain amount of bulkiness that can't be avoided in the neck of an 8-string but it's extremely playable and "fast" by 6 string standards. I was worried about the stock Jackson pickups but after having it for awhile, I have no gripe. There's no feedback out of my setup (hx stomp, seymour duncan powerstage 200, Orange ppc212 with g12k-100's) and the tone is nasty. Definitely worth the money.Only real gripe I had was that I had to do a setup out the box for fret buzz but that wasn't time consuming and I wanted thicker strings on it anyway.
