I'm very fortunate to be playing this guitar. I'm a Gus G fan but with all the research I did for this guitar I knew I was going to love it and man, do I ever. The components are top-notch. Don't trust the specs on this page though as it n eds updating. Yes it has a Gotoh bridge but it's not just a plastic nut, it's an actual TUSQ-XL which is the best in the business. A lot of guitar for the money. The neck is not Ibanez flat (thank goodness), but it's definitely made for speed and is amazing as an unfinished neck. Super smooth. I love that it's neck-through as well. The pickups are certainly some of my favorite I've ever played. (I've played for 26 years). The Blackfire pickups are considered hot but I've found them to be very articulate. Very similar to a Dimarzio Tone Zone bridge and an Air Norton in the neck. The neck pickup on the clean channel has no bite for a pickup as hot as it is. Such a beautiful sound. The response on them is perfect and reacts well to how hard you play. Again, you're getting a lot of guitar for the price point. Do not be put off by the "Made In China" or the non-aluminum frets. It's an amazing-sounding guitar and I'm really glad I was pining after it like I was. It exceeded my expectations. Pick it up and play it loud!!
