A solid guitar, everything you would expect from a Jackson. It's a midline guitar for them, but with a quality and playability that exceeds many other brands "high-end" guitars.A side note...bought it in slime green....in person, the color is a little different than what I expected, more of a kelly green than a fluorescent .....not a bad thing, just something to be aware of.

Bought this almost a year ago to be my main gigging guitar to replace my 87 Charvel model 3 that I wanted to keep from getting damaged playing live. This guitar sounds awesome, plays awesome and looks awesome ( I always wanted a Jeff Hanneman signature ESP because he was a huge influence on my playing, but I couldn’t afford it). A solid guitar, not too heavy, not too light. And I’m not a big fan of active pickups, but the Jackson actives are incredible!!, from full blown metal distortion to rock to crystal clear clean tones, it does it all!! And the matte black paint on the neck is smooth and fast with no tackiness even on hot humid days. This guitar is an A++ in my book
