One of the best 7 strings for under 500. Sound is punchy and clear in drop A. I've never owned a Jackson before but it sounds better then my Sterling JP70 with Dimarzzios. Neck is very fast and stable, bridge holds intonation well, definitely getting another in the future.

Just acquired this elegant and classy Multi-scale Jackson 7string DKAF7 and wow...I was not expecting this to be the guitar it is for the money, feels great in your hands, the pickups sound excellent and the tuning stability is amazing for not having locking tuners. Honestly I don't think there is anything needed to be changed on this guitar, maybe down the road I might do some upgrades but only for fun and not because it needs it, Honestly I don't think it needs any upgrades, definitely worth buying if your looking for a 7string on a budget but want something with alittle more value than say most budget guitars under $500. Will more than likely pickup the Mahogany red version down the road. 10 out of 10, highly recommended.
