I was seriously impressed with this guitar. It has the great Jackson features, amazingly smooth neck, great contoured body and high output with a price tag that was unbeatable by other guitars in its price range. I threw in a Pegasus and Sentient combo from Seymour Duncan and was blown away by the clarity and resonance of the guitar. Definitely worth the money.

Overall this guitar comes from the factory with pretty good setup, just needs minor tweaking. Overall sound is excellent! the neck pickup is not quite to my liking (muddy) but the bridge humbucker sounds amazing great tone and lots of grunt. Play ability is wonderful neck plays nice and fast, very happy overall. my only real complaint is the guitar does not look the picture. The maple quilt is barely visible which was a big disappointment.

unboxed it from 3 boxes and bubble wrap , arrived safe and sound !first impressions were exactly as i ordered and expected to see, the amount of detail and quality they have put into this guitars craftmanship is top notch , the pots seem decent , pick ups look great the neck is amazing , fast , and a touch wider than my EVH kramer which is what i need to play open noted without my fingers rubbing every other string , absolutely could not be happier . the arched maple top is a quality usually not found any where near this price , the headstock looks amazing .the paint itself is near perfect no blemishes and polished to a fine mirrored finish. i did some fret leveling which wasnt much at all was only 4 twangers on the E , D , B stings on 5th , 6th and 7th frets , then polished all the frets , added a touch more shim to the neck joint , put some earnie ball strings on it and absolutely amazed with it , played better than my evh as far as the action. the jackson pick ups leave a bit to be desired but im not complaining trust me .this guitar should be sold at the very least for $850 with a set of better pick ups , the neck is reinforced carbon fiber rods same as my $1900 evh , rosewood fret board , maple neck , im gonna buy a couple more of these in different colors for this price , AWESOME WORK JACKSON !

So unhappy with this guitar. Took off tremolo cover to adjust Springs and one spring claw screw is completely stripped. When I recorded with this guitar you can hear the springs among other unwanted noise. Sustain is very poor. Factory setup was not that good and lots of tweaking involved but kinda useless since cannot adjust spring tension due to above mentioned problem. Looks like someone at factory had food or something on their hands when working on guitar, there's sticky stuff on back and on some of the edges. WOW!
