This guitar is absolutely amazing at this price point. No blemishes or defects. The neck is completely smooth with no sharp fret edges or frets that are too high. The tuners and hardware seem to be of decent quality. No tuning or intonation issues. The pickups are not terrible for stock and they suit the styles of rock and metal I play just fine. So far I’m blown away by this guitar. I would highly recommend it to anyone whether your a beginner or pro. Throw in your favorite set of pickups, slap on some new strings, and you have a awesome workhorse guitar for the money. It definitely feels and plays just as nice as 80s and 90s made in Japan Jackson/Charvels I have owned in the past.

Musical Background:

I have been playing for guitar and bass for 20 years

Musical Style:

Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz

I've owned a lot of Jacksons over the years and I have to say that this is one amazing guitar for the price. Jackson has always put out quality products, but it seems they've stepped up their game. I can't find a single thing physically wrong with it. It looks good and sounds even better. The only thing I don't like about it is the look of the "zebra" style pickups, but that's just a personal opinion. I wish they were all black. Originally I bought this thinking it was just a cheap Jackson to mess around with, but I think I'm gonna throw a set of Duncans in it and use it. Way to go Jackson!
