This guitar has the full gamut of what you'd expect from a modern metal machine: stainless steel frets, tusq xl nut, bareknuckle pickups, locking tuners, individual saddle bridge, luminlay side dots, an ebony board, heel truss adjustment, 5 way switch, and even strap loks! For 10% off I was able to get this instrument for a very good price. I am happy to say this guitar has far surpassed my expectations. Was very worried about the made in China quality. But I'm happy to say that this is on par if not better than the Korean made dk2 ht7 ash I had for a while. Amazing build quality, guitar is amazingly resonant and the brute force pickups though seldom reviewed, are actually phenomenal. Like a more refined ragnarok set, which I own. The single string saddle bridge does make a difference, the guitar is super resonant and clear sounding, much easier to intonate as a result too. The guitar also stays in tune fantastically, no issues there. The only issue I found was the action was a little high from the factory, but that was an easy fix, lowered the action with no issues. The frets were also a tiny bit scratchy when bending but nothing a quick polish with steel wool won't fix. Also the fret edges aren't sharp but I can feel them a little while playing on the high side. Not enough for it to be an issue. The finish of the guitar is flawless, not a single mark and of high quality. Its a solid satin finish, not just cheap matte black. Overall fantastic instrument for the money. I will not be parting with this one, and am grateful for the AMS/ZZounds monthly payment plans. It's rare for me to find a 7 string that both plays and sounds amazing at the same time. It's always one or the other, never both. Bravo Jackson!
