The spire studio is awesome and has totally exceeded my expectations. First off it's a studio in a bag... Literally almost everything that I use in my home studio this little thing can do it all with the help of a tablet or phone it's pretty amazing... The on board mic is ok and great for recording on the fly sitting on a coffee table, but also if you want much better quality records you have two plugs in the back for a Studio Mic or an instrument to put right into the system and to top everything off this thing is TOTALLY WIRELESS!!!! so if you have a song come up in your head but you are not at home you can literally get this thing out and make a rough cut recording in your car and it's sounds great!!!!! I know because I've done it! The sound check feature is also fantastic and takes the guess work out of the audio engineering side and really makes it fun and simple for those who just want to plug in, do a sound check and press record. For a rough cut recording or Demo CD that is very high quality you can't get any better than this.

Don’t believe the hype

This was a great product! I bought it because of ease of use, but EVERY TIME I TURNED IT ON I HAVE TO do a upgrade!!! So after 10-15 updates the spire was getting more and more difficult to use, than one day it just stopped working! I spoke with the customer support and they were nice but they said I was out of warranty and sent me a new power universal adapter but that did not work. So I’m pretty frustrated with Spire so I have to move on to something else enough with the UPDATES!!!
