Purchased the unit via zZounds. Easy transaction and fast shipping as always. I own another IK Multimedia product- being the iRig 32 key piano- but this is my first run in with their guitar and mic interface. It comes with all necessary midi attachments. Simple design about the size of an old cassette player. No 9V adapter is included. If you plan on running this rig on batteries alone and expect good results- don't bother. I have not used it with batteries I had an old 9V charger hanging around that I used right off the rip. I am running the iRig in conjunction with an iPad Pro. I think it is very important to note that this product doesn't come with any kind of suite- other than a few amp models within amplitube its bare bones. The software isn't too cheap. I was a little disappointed on that front- however I did buy the Fender Modeling amps and some additional FX. Once you see past that- the models sound really nice. Based off each model will be feed back and hissing genuine to that amp- which if you don't like you can throw on the noise gate- but I personally feel that takes away from the tone. Running a American Pro Strar through it- very pleased with vintage tones and amps. You will have to find your away around the unit a bit as the instructions that come with are a little light- full product instructions are available online. I would recommend if you want to invest another $50-100 dollars into the software.
Sound
On the Fender models- very authentic tones.
