Ibanez VBT700 V-Blade Customer Review

If this guitar was stolen, I would likely buy another, assuming I could find one. It is light and comfortable to play, has a nice aesthetic, and it sounds awesome.
Sound
I play in a covers band that does everything from 50's pop to current rock, and this guitar covers all of the bases nicely. The D-activators don't really do single coil chime, but they are plenty sparkly for clean stuff. They put out a nice distortion of course, but they really, really shine with a medium blues overdrive. They are crunchy and articulate and sustain for days. This guitar is much more than a 'metal machine'.
Features
It has everything I need.
Quality
The guitar came perfectly set up, action and intonation were spot on. I can't find any flaws in the finish or binding. I normally don't like painted necks, but this guitar plays very nicely and I haven't had any issues with it.
Value
I'm very happy with the value of this guitar. The sounds, the neck, the ease of playability make it a great buy (if you can find one).
The Wow Factor
V's are always cool.

"Sexy."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I hope to own this guitar for the rest of my life. It's sheer beauty in the looks, the tone, EVERYTHING about it is perfect. Find this guitar and BUY IT!
Sound
Of the three other Ibanez guitars I own, this defiantely has the best tone for the music I want to make! This guitar really brings out the best in my playing.
Features
As far as Ibanez's go, this is great. No floyd rose and Edge Pro or anything. Just a nice bridge and some great pick-ups. A neck-through guitar for the masses!!
Ease of Use
The neck is great, the bridge is great, the weight is fantastic! Perfectly balanced, easy to play.
Quality
DEFINATELY the best Ibanez I've played. Its beautiful! Comes with a case, come on..SCORE!! I've had it for about a year now, no problems WHAT SO EVER.
Value
It's not a bad retail price, and most stores sell it cheaper than I think it's worth. The cut alone of this guitar is brilliant, and the equiptment inside of it... mmhmmm.
Manufacturer Support
I had a small issue with string tension, it was my friend's fault, but the warranty covered a quick tune-up from the guitar store it was purchased at.
The Wow Factor
I first saw this guitar (white with black pin stripe) hanging up in a guitar store and fell in love. Its sex apeal is definately strong. I played it for quite some time, and sure enough, bought it not too long after. Everytime I show off my guitars, I always get the most compliments on the looks of this Ibanez.

"beastly metal guitar!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
this is a beast! it comes stock with dimarzio d activators which bring out some awesome metal tones.
Ease of Use
no effects needed to get ur heavy metal riffs. just turn on a little distortion and you have some serious tone.
Quality
it is very durable but lightweight. it is made out of basswood so its very lightweight and still gets great tone. iv banged it around a few times and there isnt a scratch on it!
Value
it is very cheap for the quality. one of ibanez's greater products.
Manufacturer Support
havent had to deal with it yet but im sure its fine.
The Wow Factor
its a flying v for gods sake! who wouldn't want one!
