PLAYS LIKE A DREAM..STAYS IN TUNE..LOOKS & SOUNDS GREAT ! I find myself ignoring my American Fender Mustang for this Indonesian masterpiece. I challenge anyone to come up with a better short scale bass for the money.

"Good bass, bad strings"

Ibanez just needs to send these out with decent strings. Seemed awful, changed the strings and did a quick truss rod adjustment and it's pretty nice. Stock strings would need to have 1/2" of string hight to not clank....super slinky and loose. Other than that there isn't much to complain about. Good quality, feels solid, smooth frets, no buzz....some neck dive, bit not bad. I really like it.

Sounded clanky with the stock strings, threw some eball normal slinkys on it and a slight truss rod adjustment and it's money. Intonation and string hight was super close out of the box. The pots work nice. Fret edges feel nice. Sounds good. Happy with it so far. Only thing I would say is the stock strings seems super floppy and small. I was thinking I'd mod it when I ordered it, but thinking the strings were enough.

I wish I'd spent the extra hundred dollars, rattles really bad, like the strings are no good, not what I expected at all
