I've had several basses, this one is one of my favorite sounding basses. At this price point, you get an amazing hardware quality, great pickups, solid bridge, very comfortable to play, and variations of tonality without losing power. Had a setup first for the action and intonation, which needs to be done either way, nothing else was flawed. It looks gorgeous and elegant, just be careful to not hit it with something, it is a delicate body. One last note, this might seem as a step up from the 500 series, but in my honest opinion, it just depends on your choice for Bartolini or Nordstrand pups. I highly recommend this product for any versatile musician whether you keep this as your main, or part of your arsenal.

I manufacture boutique bass cabinets, and I own many different basses, MM sting ray5, Sire V7, Fender Jazz and P basses just to name a few, and this is the easiest to play by far. It is lightweight, has a lightning fast neck and the setup is accurate and precise right out of the box. The Nordstrand PJ pickup are simply outstanding. I play all styles of music, from Sinatra to Metallica, and they deliver whatever I need. I have basses that cost 3 times as much and this is my go to instrument. Buy this bass and I promise, you won't be sorry.
