"Looks unbelievable, and almost plays as good as it looks."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
It looks great, It plays just as good, You wont be a typical Ibanez RG'er (which 90% of Ibanez owners own because they never considered unique models). If your careful and you take good care of it, this guitar will last for many years from what i seen
Sound
Great sound and tone, although the stock humbucker pickups have some trouble hitting good mid ranges... if you are good with your amp you can work it out. As far as wood and body tone... your buying an Ibanez... if you care about those tones go buy a fender and pretend your sounding better. If you are displeased put more gain and effects on, why the hell not?
Features
Just about everything on this guitar is great. If your looking for a specific sound with your pick-ups you might be dissapointed in the humbuckers, but they are built more for versatility then personal preferance. With the volumne and tone control knobs you can switch between many different combinations of pickup styles allowing you to find the right sound.
Ease of Use
Excellent, the low action and very responsive fretboard allow me to play fast hammer-ons and pull-offs, making tapping a breeze and allows connecting licks more easily. It doesnt take long to learn the Humbucker modes either, just an hour or two of switching those modes and you'll become used to it.
Quality
So far everything on this guitar keeps itself up alright... The only true issue i have is with the bridge, it seems to have trouble keeping itself adjusted, so if your a vai wannabe whammy wanker like me keep it under control (impossible), or adjust your whammy sensitivity before going nuts... ive probably broken 5 strings and had to readjust my brige twice because of whammy use (nothing too extreme... not even dimebag harmonic squeels) Oh, and keep this thing clean, especially if you get it in white, its a dust magnet and you can see every spec.
Value
I paid $575 for this guitar at a local guitar shop, (you can get it for $500 on sites like these). Most people i meet think its upwards of $700 and honestly ive played guitars worth much more that dont even compare to the look feel and quality of this guitar.
Manufacturer Support
I have had to have my bridge readjusted once, wasnt sure how at the time, everything worked out fine. Just took it to the local Guitar-Smith and he fixed it up.
The Wow Factor
Id have to say the Inlays and the Abiloni trim give this guitar a unique look. (I have never seen a guitar other than this that has these inlays, or similar trim.) When i took it to the local guitar shop the owner actually was interested in the guitar, he had never stocked this exact model before and the only Ibanez customers were typical RG'ers. This is no lie, he looked at the guitar and it reminded him of GUESS WHAT?! The JEM-7 Steve Vai signiture. Not only did its sexy awsomeness somewhat resemble vai's guitar... he felt obligated to let me play one of vai's signatures (autographed). I played for a total of 50 seconds before realising i wasnt worthy and gave it back, but still Vai actually touched that guitar.... i had Vai's skin cells on my hands!!! All because this guitar is unique and beautiful. +11 Oh and did i meantion i have never seen a live person even looking at this guitar? except the people i meet of course.

"Versatile and beautiful"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If you want a nice looking guitar to play with a lot of tone options, this is for you.
Sound
This guitar is great and extremely versatile. I was seeking a heavier tone so I removed the plastic pickup covers and raised the pickups and it sounded killer. I'm a mod freak so I put in a Seymour Duncan TB-4, a kill pot and sanded the neck.
Features
The standard features are all amazing with push/pull pots to split the coils and good switches and knobs.
Ease of Use
It's easily playable and a great sounding guitar.
Quality
the construction is solid and the materials are all quality.
Value
If you can pick one of these up you won't be disappointed. It's easily worth double what they sell for.
Manufacturer Support
I looked into wiring diagrams which Ibanez has available on their site.
The Wow Factor
The abalone binding and fret inlays look so good on this guitar. I have the white model but it really pops on the black ones.

"really really amazing perfect guitar for any style of player or genre of music"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
this is a really good guitar i find nothing wrong with it accpet for the not meduim sound but like i said before u can fix that with some duncan pic-ups or playing around with your amp and guitar..
Sound
this guitar has really good lows and hight but no medium so u really have to play wit your amp and guitar to get the right sounds between high and low other than that it is a really great sounding guitar
Features
i love the whammy bar on this guitar. it fits really nicely and looks good too. the tuning knobs are really tight so it easy to down tune.
Ease of Use
this is really easy to use the only semi challenging thing to do is change the strings but nothing major.
Quality
the quality of this guitar was amazing but it gets dirty easy, with smudges but it is easy to clean and looks amazingly awesome
Value
i paid $500 witch is a good deal guitars like this are typicaly much more expensive
Manufacturer Support
i don't really know i never needed to use support...witch is a good thing
The Wow Factor
This guitar is looks really good black with chrome gear everyone that sees it is amazed even though it is simple it looks really great!

i think this guitar is one i will keep forever. its nice, i may chang the pickups someday.
Sound
the only thing i would improve would be the pickups,it seems you have to play at a louder volume to get your notes picked up properly. other than that this is a very nice guitar. for the price you have very nice guitar. i have the black one, and its beautiful.
Features
the tremolo bar works fine also its less complicated than a floyd rose.
Ease of Use
you can get all range of sounds with this guitar. it says it has medium frets but its more like jumbo.
Quality
i beleive this guitar will hold up for anybodys style of playing. its a very sturdy guitar. the tuning knobs are cheap and feel cheap, but they will hold up they just feel cheap when you turn them.
Value
value was fair. overall a good deal.
Manufacturer Support
no i just bought it this week.
The Wow Factor
its one of the nicest guitars out there as far as looks are concerned, also a set neck makes it very appealing.
