I am so glad I grabbed the last one zZounds had in stock. This is a relatively new model from Ibanez and I think the only one in the Prestige line with a reverse headstock. The build quality is second to none. From the nut to the frets to the bridge .. all the binding .. just perfect. The Dimarzio Fusion pickups sound killer and it plays like butter. Nice hardshell case. You don't get this kind of quality from other brands until you get up into the $2,500-$3,000 range. Highly recommend this guitar.

I've been playing guitar for 35 years and have owned many brands and models, including several Ibanez guitars. Out of the box, this is, by far, the best. I don't mean that it's the best guitar but that this guitar has the best fit, finish, quality and craftsmanship I've seen on an instrument of this price. It is swinging WAY above its price range. No, there's no flame top or figured neck, etc. this is as basic a finish as you can find but it is flawless. The binding on the body, especially at the acute angle of the lower horn, is immaculate and seamless. The neck, fingerboard and frets feel as comfortable and worn in as one of my 20+ year old daily players. The electronics are truly a sight to behold ... seriously, pop off the backplate and take a look inside. The hand soldering was done with skill and pride. The fact that something as simple and out of sight as soldering was done with such care and craft is amazing on a non-boutique guitar. The pickups are crystal clear while clean and articulate and robust through dirt, distortion and fuzz. I was genuinely surprised at how versatile the Fusion Edges are.In summary, I'd expect this level of quality from a $3000 instrument but was surprised and very pleased to find it in a $1500 package!
