Finally Ibanez!!!!!! This guitar is pretty much a Prestige RG neck thru for an affordable price, very nice quality in every aspect except the electronics.
OKAY NOW LETS GET TO THE ELECTRONICS VERY UNHAPPY
The way the guitar was wired from the factory will drain your 9v battery in one day.
The killswitch is useless and a bad idea, the thing shorts to ground, is not momentary nor does it disconnect the battery draw. So it can't be used effectively as an effect or disconnect.
I ended up installing a 2 pole single throw killswitch that allowed me to disconnect the battery it worked ok for a while but then I realized after 4 hours of continuous play it died again. In the end the harness had multiple cold solders and partially open grounds. Total junk wiring in my opinion for this level of guitar
I removed all of the wiring in the guitar installed new EMG harness and no problems.

Rock solid neck thru makes this thing sustain forever. EMG 81 neck pickup gives a tone like burning chrome through my Line 6 amp. The factory set-up didn't need any changes, with a fast low action and perfect intonation. This is a beautiful instrument without being flashy. The clear matte finish shows the wood grain and doesn't need polishing as it never shows fingerprints.
