"Don't complain about the 1799 price tag, it's worth every penny! Monster shredder that delivers! "

I ordered my RGD1327 in flat orange. I could barely wait to open the box! I love the flat orange, the birds eye maple pops! I love the fact the inlay dots are small and unobtrusive. The dimarzio fusions scream and are crystal clear! Some wonder on the thickness of the neck and it's not super thin nor thick. It's a cross between a strat feel and an ESP. You can shred the heck out of this guitar and mine arrived perfectly setup and even the strings were pre stretched. I just tuned up and off I went! If you are shredder and love metal and appreciate a guitar that won't get muddy being drop tuned then this is the guitar for you! Oh it came with an Ibanez multi function allen wrench set that should be in every guitarist tool box!
Sound
The dimarzio fusions are crystal clear and I would never change them. Every single note is heard clearly even being factory tuned down a whole step. For cleans I would want a ton knob only to roll off the top end but that's it.
Features
The materials are top quality as what you would expect from a prestige guitar. The only flaw is no tone knob but this can be easily done with a push pull.
Ease of Use
The trem really is smooth as butter and it's very light weight. Not as light as my Parker Maxx7 but light compared to most 7 strings. It's a wildly comfortable guitar!
Quality
The quality is flawless as with all prestige guitars.
Value
This guitar I feel is perfectly priced and quite honestly feels and play better than some of my 4K+ guitars. You cannot get a better metal monster shredder for under 1800.00! Do not complain about the price and with zZounds payments you have no reason to purchase.
Manufacturer Support
I never had a problem but reached out to them about specs and they responded extremely quick.
The Wow Factor
When I opened the case I couldn't believe how flawless it is, the birdseye maple pops, the white dimarzio fushion pickups really add to the color scheme of the guitar. The flat orange is to die for and plays well with the birdseye maple. I am most likely going to pickup a 2nd one in white. Yeah this guitar is that good!

"Amazing Guitar"

I’ve played for 35 years, I own vintage Strats, Taylor’s, multiple MIJ Ibanez guitars all the way back to an original Universe ...... this is the nicest, best playing guitar I’ve ever owned. Through my jvm410hjs or 65 black face fender .... the fusion edge pickups sound amazing !!! Rock, blues, jazz, metal ..... doesn’t matter. The neck is ridiculous, I put daddario 11-64 nyxl’s on, tunes to B flat, set it up myself .... never goes out of tune !! The lo pro edge has always been my favorite. The 26.5 neck makes this a much better 7 string than a Universe. The finish is outstanding. I cannot day enough good things about this guitar. I bought it assuming I would change the pickups but now I think I might put these pickups in my other 7 string !!!It’s hard to describe but it’s like you can literally feel this thing resonating in your hands. I bought the flat white but I’m gonna buy another and have a custom paint job in black done.

"A monster of tone and sound"

This guitar is a monster of tone and sound it is geared for metal but is not just for metal it is very versatile. No tone nob fear not that is what the treble bleed on the volume is for. It is definitely what you would expect from the fujigen factory and all the bragging behind the made in japan ibanez brand guitars. I can not speak about the other ibanez stuff from other guitar builders. But anything coming out of the fujigen factory is nothing but great great great and rivals my USA custom shop jackson. I would not change anything on this guitar do remember to run bigger string size because of its elongated 26.5" scale or you may run into tuning issues bigger size strings should nip that in the butt. This guitar is nothing but quality with such a guitar please make sure you have played a cheaper seven string guitar and that you really like that extra string. That you have played for a few years first or your going to have a bad time this is not for starting musicians get a six string and learn that first ! ! ! If you can not play a six string yet buying a fancy exspensive 7 string will not magically make you a guitar god. Happy playing to everyone

I play a little of everything but mostly extreme shred metal but i would consider my playing style more than generously diverse
