"Solid guitar"

Overall, having had this guitar a few weeks, I love it. Mine was almost practically set up out of the box (which surprised me quite a bit). It looks much sharper in person. It sounds good, feels good, simple configuration. Overall, if you want a 7 string and don't want to drop a fortune, this is a great guitar all around.
Sound
The sound is good for the pickups it has. Much better than I expected. I will inevitably swap pickups later on, but the stock pickups are good enough that I'm in no major hurry to do so.
Features
Almost as simple a set up as it gets. Good material used. Wouldn't expect any less from ibanez
Ease of Use
Pretty easy to get tone ranges all across the spectrum if paired with the right amp.
Quality
Too early to say for certain, but my experience with Ibanez is that they are solid guitars. The only issues I've ever had is finish wearing off the bridge on any Ibanez I've owned, but I sweat a lot so that's a factor.
Value
Compared to other guitars in its price range, this is the best in my opinion.

This is a nice guitar, very well made as you would expect from any Ibanez guitar. The neck is thin and very comfortable. I cant review the pups that it came with because I installed set of seymour duncan nazgul/sentient pups right out of the box before I even plugged it in. At first I wasn't real happy with the sound. It was very heavy and dark. I went back into the electronics and noticed it had a very large capacitor on it. After disconnecting the capacitor I gained back the highs and achieved the tone I was expecting from the nazgul pup. I will be installing a 1 meg ohm pot and small capacitor in a few days, this will give the the "wide open" sound from the pup that I want wile still letting me roll off some of the highs if I should so choose. Other than that, love the guitar!! Plays really well and looks good too.

I'll keep short and brief. I've had this guitar for 3 weeks and still discovering new tones. Although I love my metal which this guitar does well. I've playing fusion, funk, classic rock and end the night with some shred. For the money this guitar has seriously surprised me with these stock pickups. I'm freaking shocked to frank. Digging this guitar. Thanks zZounds for great service and great pricing.

Right out the box the first thing I noticed was how weightless this guitar was, I’ve been used to my les Paul and strat being way heavier. Out of the box didn’t have any issues with intonation but as I play drop tuning gdgcfad def will be switching stock strings as the low g is floppy and muddy. Aside from that this guitar was a nice intro to 7 string for the cash. I’ve been toying with the idea for years but finally took the dive and I am not disappointed as I’ve managed to come up with new riffs and ideas, with this much fun could see myself moving towards 8 or 9 string but prolly will invest in signature model
