i would buy another one if something was to happen to this one.
Sound
it is very versatile thanks to the coil selectors. the sustain is awesome too.
Features
the coil selectors are incredible.
Quality
i had a bit of an issue with the cord jack, but I think that it was self -inflicted.
Value
for the versatility you get for this price, you'd have to be stupid not to buy one.
Manufacturer Support
havent needed it yet.
The Wow Factor
it's very sexy

"Buy it, Get it setup, and have fun."

I'm in college, so this is it for awhile, and I'm nothing but satisfied with it.
Sound
Fantastic. I never thought I'd use the coil taps that much, but I do now, and it opens up a lot of tone you'd usually never get in one guitar. Not too aggresive, but definately not subdued either. Take to a shop and get it setup and sounds even better.
Features
I dig the coil taps.
Quality
I would like for it to stay in tune better, but the metal pickguard is slick. Get it set up though, for sure.
Value
300 is cheap for a guitar this good.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed it.
The Wow Factor
This guitar just came out when I bought it, and I bought it pretty much on looks alone (which is stupid, but I lucked out on this one). You can't help but dig it.

I'd probably want to be worried about the tuning keys, but it looks stable enough. I'd use this proudly for years.
Sound
Through a random Kustom amp, it sounded pretty straight-forward with biting tone. No bull, just sharp rocking tone.
Features
The coil taps are a bit pointless really...I mean, it's just like a tone knob for the humbucker. I guess it's cool, but a little silly.
Quality
Really solid. The tuning keys were a bit sketchy, but stayed in tune.
Value
For the money, great deal.
The Wow Factor
It's really cool as soon as I get used to the neck. It looks like a mean machine.

"I love this guitar!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Sound
Garage sound, fast smooth, but quiet like most ibanez although this one has significantly more bite. Rocker switches and pickups at to the overall versatility of this guitar. I really recommend this guitar for anyone who doesn't want to spend way to much for a nice guitar.
Features
this is the only area i think this guitar is lacking in the tuning pegs and neck colors/wood are a little miss matched for this instument but then again it is the pawn shop guitar. C'est la vie!
Quality
this is a reissue they fix up the problem of the easily worn frets and the failing electronics so i give it a thumbs up!
Value
Definitly
The Wow Factor
Oh this guitar is totally unique its a head turner for sure. The way the color (mine is the red sunburst) and pick guard and everthing mesh is amazing. combine it with a black strap and your rocking!

"More guitar than you'd expect for the little green you shell out."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Im going to play the JK 1 for about another year or two before i search the market for another guitar, however, im going to keep it until someone pries it from my cold, dead, fingers.
Sound
This guitar put out an amazing sound the second i plugged it in. I own a seriously terrible amp and this baby made it sound like a million bucks. The sustain is unmatched by most "better quality" guitars i have played. For the money, this is one of the best guitars you could invest in.
Features
The three way toggle is pretty much standard with any guitar with dual humbuckers as you know, but the two rocker switchers are soo rad! It puts out so much sustain and buttery distortion, and I haven't ever had any problems with keeping it tune...some guitars can't last a day in tune, this one, however, can.
Quality
I tell you what, coming out of the packaging, the JK looked like a dream, i have the buttuh-scotch, i've had mine awhile now, and it hasn't had a scratch even though i am known to carelessly toss it around. Its really durable..buy it, test it.
Value
The guitar is so worth the little money it costs, i was going to but a les paul until i came across this baby, and i don't regret it.
The Wow Factor
Totally rad, you have to experiance it to get it.

"The best guitar for the price, trust me, its great."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have nothing but good things to say about this guitar, it has not let me down yet, and I wouldnt replace it for any other guitar for the price. I think that if you like the old school look, and its retro-vibe, then go out and buy it, its worth the money. Trust me...
Sound
This is a great sounding guitar for its price. The powersound humbuckers really put out, and I think it sounds better then some of the higher-end brands.
Features
This guitar has a a bunch of cool stuff to it. Its got a 3 way toggle switch, and two rocker switches for coil-tapping, so you really have a lot of tonal versitility.
Quality
I'm not really that gentle with it, but it holds up great. The finish is still like new, and i really pound on it quite a bit. Everything stays in great shape, and its definatly a solid guitar.
Value
Considering what this guitar has to offer, and the fact that is has great features, I think thats its your best-bet for the price.
Manufacturer Support
I've never had to get any support for it, because its just such a great guitar!
The Wow Factor
I really like everything about how it looks, with the wire-brushed pickguard and, off-set inlays, and it just really has that "old school" look to it.

Ibanez JTK1 Jet King Customer Review

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
it didn't look the way i had expected it to look when i ordered it. but i still think it's a great git.
Sound
i find that the pickups are pretty hot. good tone and sustain with string through body
Features
the coil tapping switches are the best, but the one's i have are the cheap snap-in rocker types, not the one in the picture. for more accurate picture see ibanez web site.
Quality
great for the money. seems rugged.
Value
great bang for buck
Manufacturer Support
don't know how to contact ibanez. can't find replacement parts easily (ie. rocker switches, scratch plate). for some reason, there aren't any replacement parts listed on ibanez website.
The Wow Factor
I only give a 6 because it looks soooo good on this website, but ibanez made some changes since then and it looks much worse now on the ibanez site as well as in the flesh.
