This is the first headless instrument I've owned and I will buy another with no hesitation. The sound of this thing blew me away, it was completely unexpected! Clear highs and growling lows. There is something else that I can't quite describe, but it's immensely pleasing to the ears. The playability is great. It's very comfortable and fun to play. I would highly recommend this stringed beauty!

First of all, I was thrilled that it was delivered to me so quickly. My plan was to play it at home a bit before taking it on a gig. But right out of the box, it played like a dream. Five hours after unboxing, I was playing it on a gig, and right away, it felt like an old friend. I found the fan frets to be no problem at all to get used to. The tonal variations are way more than I will ever use, but they could be called up in many different situations. I actually just played it in passive mode on the gig, and it was perfect. I've had dozens of basses over more than 60 years, but only a few felt so perfect when first picking it up. I can pretty much guarantee that this is instantly becoming my number one. Thanks to zZounds for making purchases like this so easy.

This bass is really awesome. I mean right out of the box it's awesome. This is the first headless bass I've ever owned and I will buy another. I like the way the tuning happens. I like that it stays in tune very well. It's surprising light as well. I would suggest you buy this if you have the money.
