I thought I knew what love was until I bought this bass and truly fell in love. I had dabbled with 6 strings for a while and even had the 6 string model of this bass. I took a leap and am happy I did. Straight out of the box action is incredible. Tone is solid and can really be dialed in to a number of different sounds. The wood/neck is even more beautiful in person compared to the pictures. As far as I'm concerned this bass is perfect. Ive had Fender, Spector, Ibanezs and this bass tops them all.

Ok, so, I'm not a stranger to extended range instruments, this being my second 7 string, but let me tell you this...this bass is awesome! I received it yesterday and haven't put it down since. It plays like butter, the feel is sweet and the sound is fantastic. The B string is good and clear, not muddy and the F is crisp clean and not overpowering to the other strings. The Bart's are great, the neck although wide( if you're not used to a 7 stringer) is easy to get the feel of. If you are looking to make the jump to something of this magnitude you shouldn't hesitate and there's no reason that you would be sorry.

The only problem with this instrument is finding strings (when I need to replace them which hasn't happened yet), but besides that this is an absolutely flawless instrument. The pickups sounds so full yet aren't too bassy and the eq section is the best I've had on an instrument yet. Chords are bright and chime like because of the scale length, and the lows are perfectly punchy and not muddy. A real jack of all trades, can't recommend this bass enough.

Been playing music seriously for 10 years, play anything I can get my hands on
