I've had custom made basses out of ash with Wenge caps, Wenge necks, I've played bubinga Spectors, Neil Clark Long Lady, Stingrays and Bongos. None of these come close to the sound and craftsmanship of this phenomenal bass. It was a no brainer to get this "blemished" bass in a case for a touch over $900 and I couldn't be happier with the whole process. Idk why more people don't use zzounds for the easy financing, quick to answer customer service, and top notch products, but I am certainly spreading the news and already gave them 3 new customers within a month of me owning this unrivaled bass
