Bought mine this summer, played almost exclusively through headphones (Sennheisers and Sony monitors) and a Boss ME-80 so I have heard exquisitely detailed tones from these quiet and full bodied pickups. I love the smaller semi hollow size of the 93. The neck pickup is perfect Scofield; the bridge is a touch on the bright side at about 1 khz but that can be rolled off or balanced in a dual pickup configuration, I will have no problems playing this beautiful guitar in a live blues band using Fender tube amps (Deluxe or Super). Well done overall.

"Baseball Neck"
Not crazy about the Fat neck but like the 12" radius profile...The pickups sound good has that 57 Gibby sound to it overall nice axe but not a main player...Isiray Rochester NY Blues Rock fusion artist Sweet Ray Blues band...
