I'm not going to get all gushy I just want to say that I bought this on a whim and a prayer that it would be as good as it looked. It more than fulfilled that expectation. Fit and finish is outstanding, the Super 58 pickups are just that, Super. The fret work was excellent. The action was perfect right out of the case. Now since nothing is absolutely perfect in this world let me get to what MIGHT be considered a less than top grade issues. The only minor and I mean minor things were it comes with some sort of synthetic string nut but in reality that only affects the tone slightly on open unfretted notes. once you fret a note the string nut is taken out of the issue anyway. I called Ibanez and they sold me a drop in bone nut for it so that issue was easily resolved. The only other thing is they could have used full size control pots BUT the ones in it work perfectly fine. No scratchiness or noise whatsoever. It sounds superb and plays like melted butter. If your looking at this model, I suggest you try it. If it doesn't suit you somehow, zZounds will handle your return with professionalism. They are the best on the internet for buying anything musical. I should know I have bought lots of guitars, amps and much more and they never fail me ever.

The guitar arrived 4 days ago it has the best looking wood of any Ibanez I own, problem was the 3 way switch was bad only switched to two positions, the folks a zounds offered a replacement but such a minor problem isn't worth giving up a good sounding playing and good lookin guitar, so I contacted Ibanez and was surprised that Matt at Ibanez had a new switch on the way the same day I called them, I work on my own guitars so a switch swap is easy, now it's a keeper.

I got it two weeks ago, it has some of the best wood and finish on any of the Ibanez guitars I have bought in the past, and acoustically the best sounding, but the three-way switch was bad out of the box,not a real problem to change, I was surprised that Ibanez had a new switch sent out the day I contacted them, problem solved, it looks and plays like a two thousand dollar jazz box.
