"My first Ibanez"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

I went out to by a Takamine, but decided to sit with a number of other guitars in the same price-mark. I kept going back to this guitar...I just felt so right in my hands, and the tone was rich and full.

Musical Background:

I am a trained singer. I play guitar, but also use my keyboard at times for composition.

Musical Style:

Folk music, alternative, spanish styles... flamenco flavor.

For $300 there are few guitars that provide the ease of play, exceptional beauty, and quality sound that I did not know for sure about the artwood before I bought it. I've owned literally 10's and 10's of guitars over the last few decades including the big names and high prices, but this time around I just really wanted something I could really afford to keep, and actually play for fun. I got the Violin Burst and it's the most beautiful guitar. it sets in the living room and I'll just pick it up and play some song on my mind and it's really little less than I'm in concert. I may not play that well or sing great, but the guitar really makes everything sound good to me!

Musical Background:

35 years all genres - jamming at the house

Musical Style:

all of it!
