"you wont be let down."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
overall i think hartkae makes great products. after all i did pay only $300.00 NEW for this unit..when you could go and buy something of the same stature for almost tripple the price. you cant beat their prices. its quality gear for musicans who are on a budgett. which is a lot more than i can say for most manufactures.
Sound
for the price this thing sounds like its worth a lot more than it is. this thing can pump out the lows while kicking the highs out with ear peircing cut
Features
i think it could use another imput jack. it only has one and its kind of annoying if you have stereo or multichannel bass head
Quality
so far so good. it seems to be your standard durability bass amp.
Value
yes, so cheap but so amazing
Manufacturer Support
nope, however i have heard only good things about hartkae. ive always heard great thing from people from every genre of music.
The Wow Factor
is this a trick question?

"great cab, great price."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Great cab at a great price. i use this cab by itself. it is loud and sounds awesome.
Sound
When i tried it in the store, it was the only cab in the price range that could handle the lows without farting. beautiful warm, punchy tone. when i got it to practice it did not sound good at first, but then i realized i was under powering it with a GK MB 150s (150W). so i got a Markbass little mark II (500W) and wow! great sound! I bought it for the lows and this cab does not disappoint.
Features
its a cab.
Quality
good quality. holds up to use.
Value
unbelievable value. could not get a better 2x15 cab for two or three times the price.
The Wow Factor
looks nice. its cool dig.

"For the Price, It Can't Be Beat!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Bought mine used as part of a half stack, and it's been worth every penny.
Sound
As others have stated, the lows this thing throws are amazing. People have stood in front of it during practice just to feel the air this thing kicks out! Obviously, the highs aren't very good, but that horn can't compete with two 15's. I'm probably going to be pairing it with a GK 4X10" to maximize my high end, and not have to push the Hartke fill-throttle.
Features
Everybody says it only has one input...but mine has two!
Ease of Use
Very simple, as it's a cab. Quite heavy, but not too ridiculous...just have to use some backbone to get it around!
Quality
Bought mine used, and still have never had any problems with it, other than occasionally re-tightening the screws for the mesh cage (which when you feel the power of this cab, you'll understand why haha). Other than that, a very reliable cabinet.
Value
Absolutely worth it!
Manufacturer Support
Have dealt with them to get the manual for my HA5500 amp...they were very helpful, and professional in obtaining it.
The Wow Factor
For us small-time musicians out there, playing on a budget...WOW definitely covers it!

Hartke VX215 Bass Cabinet Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Because it was big, I went around looking at other cabinets the past couple weeks to see if I could match the sound. What I found looking around is making me rethink if being so big is actually a problem. This cabinet sounds as good as 15" speaker cabinets 2 - 3 times the price.
Features
For being so big, it's LIGHT. Weight-wise it's similar to most 1x15 cabinets I've seen (60 - 70lbs).
Quality
This cabinet survived cats treating it like a scratching post, guitarist temper-tantrums, and accidentally dropping it down some stairs. To be fair though, I've never seen it take blows to the grill, so there could be holes in its invulnerability.
Value
You WON'T find a better sounding cab for the money. In fact, this cab spoiled me. I figured because of its price that I'd be able to find 1x15 and 2x10 cabs in the same pricerange that can do what this does. I haven't yet.
The Wow Factor
It has the sound. It can take a beating. Its size makes it a bit of a bear to move around on your own, especially in tight stairwells.

still sucks
Sound
sounds like crap, right out of the box. i still like hartke, but the xl series is the only legitamate choice. i can't believe they actually let people buy these things!
Features
it's a cab, how many features do you want?
Quality
it's a joke
Value
maybe you could use it as a table?
Manufacturer Support
good company, easy return on past items.
The Wow Factor

"Hartke, yuck."

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Save up a little money, get something higher quality.
Sound
This cab will not hold up in a loud gig without a mic. I was able to crank the mids and highs without problem but anything below my low Ab sounded terrible.
Quality
Cheap materials, no caster, the grate cover part was all wonky and bent when I got it new. Don't mess with Hartke.
Value
I sent back the first one because it sounded so bad, and when the replacement came, it was a little better, but in my opinion, still sucked!
Manufacturer Support
I tried calling Hartke and left messages and emails, which were never returned. According to their line, they were closed during their regular business hours.
The Wow Factor
Don't waste your time, I didn't listen to the other review on here that suggested to use it as a coffee table...but now I whole-heartedly agree.

"Excellent Cab By Hartke! Its worth more than $300"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Im really satisfied with this cab. Wouldnt trade it in.
Sound
This cab sounds extremly nice. The lows are crystal clear. The highs arent good. But cmon, its a 2x15. If you want highs get a 4x10.
Features
THERE IS ONLY ON INPUT ON THIS CAB. It says 2 on alot of websites, even on the manual! but there is 1. I dont know why. However, This cab still kicks ass, i only need 1 input anyways.
Ease of Use
This cab gets an excellent sound. The cone is honestly not that good. Its average. You wont get crystal clear highs on this cab. But allways clear lows.
Quality
it has nice handles, the corners are plastic but steardy.
Value
Definitly worth it. Buy it for the lows, you wont be sorry.
The Wow Factor
its nice looking and its sounds great

"A cabinet worth the wait"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I have been playing bass guitar for 35 years. I have used an Ampeg SVT3 8/10" bottom most of those years. I have been looking for a smaller cabinet that can handle bass loud and low - the way I like it - without distortion for a very long time. No smaller speaker cabinet could begin to get the job done. The Hartke 215 paper speakers with horn has unbelievable tone quality. I had tried every half stack made at any price and the Hartke (now $339) blows them all away. If you are frustrated with your bass bottom try this cabinet, it is excellent.

Hartke VX215 Bass Cabinet Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

overall, this amp is a must get for any bassist looking for a good dependable, as well as LOUD gigging bass cabinet. so far, ive been totally happy with it. and i fell in love with it the first time i saw it..and more so the first time i played it in the store. for the price and quality..this amp just takes the cake. you wont find anything else as poweful and profesional as this in its price range.
Sound
this cab is great. its really cheap and can really kick out the lows and high that you need for any gig. for the price. you cant go wrong. the only comlpaint i have is; if you dont have a good powerful head. this cab wont put out like it should. im currently using an old 300 watt peavey PA head. and its not cutting it too well..however..if you want to really boost your sound for more than half the price. you should with out no doubt get the hartke bass driver. it cleared up my sound and boosted my lows and highs sooo much. it UNBELIEVABLE!!
Features
its a bass cab..how many features can it have? lol
Quality
this amp is pretty well made. im not really sure how well its going to hold up to me giging a lot with it though. i dont think i will have any probelms honestly.
Manufacturer Support
never had to call
The Wow Factor
this is a very nice nice profesional looking amp. it just looks big and pricey. ive gotten lots of compliments on the looks, as well as the sound.
