"Is your Lead Guitarist drowning out your sound? Try the Hartke HA3500. This baby is loud!"

I like the Hartke line of products. If and when it needs replaced I will probably see what Hartke is currently making and purchase another Hartke.
Sound
Quality Bass Amp. Used with my Hartke 410XL.All I need for the music I play and with the 350 watts this baby is loud. The EQ band is great. Too much to mention actually. It is very light compared to many other Bass Amps. Easy to dial in to achieve your desired tone although I did spend some time figuring out what I could achieve sound wise.
Features
Too many to list. The compression although functional is minimal. I like the passive and active inputs. My Bass's are passive and the second is active.
Ease of Use
The learning curve is minimal but I had to work at it a while. The insstruction book is helpful, but I need to get my bass in hand and see what this Amp is cabable of. I am not disapointed.
Quality
Peresonally, I feel its a very high quality product. No worries of breaking down any ime soon. I will use this amp daily and gig almost every weekend and then some. So it will get put through the paces. Time will tell but I feel certain that this amp will hold up the the use and abusew of road work.
Value
Absolutely worth what I paid. Great value.
Manufacturer Support
Havent had to use them as yet.
The Wow Factor
Aesthetic appeal is great. Lights in the EQ bars are cool. Nice looking Amp. I likwe the blue lights also on the compression switch. It is a practical addition for my Hartke 410XL.

Been playing bass For 23 years, always really played fender American jazz and precision Basses...I have had probably close to 10 high end heads and numerous cabinets....for the past couple years I was just playing through a combo amp in my living room. Finally my two boys are grown and play guitar, so I bought a head and a used cabinet. I’m playing this Hartke 3500 head through a SWR 4x10 cab with a jazz and precision bass. What’s weird about this head is that when played with a pick, the head kinda sounds pretty crappy, it just doesn’t have that needed quality or higher end tube pre amp quality....I don’t know, it’s just hard to explain. But it’s just not that great "............BUT when you play this head with fingers and a precision bass or jazz bass it SHINES! This setup is one of my favorite I’ve had so far. It’s sounds really really good with finger style and about half way turned up! Solid, warm, has some growl and almost the prefect amount of string warmth. For $325......YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS HEAD. Period. It’s solid and seems very durable even though it’s made in China. The Hartke 3500 is a very very good head. I’d play it any day in front of anybody and be confident in my bass tone.......fingers only though.

"Hartke 3500"

Always wanted a Hartke as a kid in the 60s but couldn't afford it. Had great reputation and was well respected. In the last 20 years I've had the opportunity to finally purchase the 3500 and was pleased with the initial results. Pre and post gain, tube and trans preamp, graphic eq and all the typical outs like direct (pre and post eq) and such. But as is the case in many products the quality simply isn't there anymore. I've had a number of them go bad. My most recent is 4 years old, gigged very little and already has a noise when the eq section is engaged and the LEDs are starting to go. I can no longer rely on Hartke for durability and when ready to purchase again I will be looking for a product with a track record of quality, durability and longevity.

I got the 3500 in a combo that was a x15 1x5. I played it loved it. I even hooked it to a blackwidow 18 man that was fun! I took the head out cus i loved it so much & i am playing it out of a crate 2x10 with a horn. I love this amp so much i am looking into getting another! Iv played it with a 2k$ bass & my 3k$ acoustic guitar. I am a acoustic frunt man in a punk folk indie band. Bass amps most time soune better them run of the mil acoustic amps. Id say buy the head man ! Its a work hourse & i love mine! Sounds as good as a swr. If not better..!

"Great Amp Head, but don't expect much volume"

I bought this head to play with my punk band. It has amazing tone and control and is a tough amp, but it doesn't have much volume. I have a hard time competing with guitarist's combo amp.
