"Great fun! It is an instrument which is not well-known to the general public. I have enjoyed it. It would be especially good"

It is giving me what I wanted. If I become more proficient in playing it, I might spring for a larger or differently voiced model, but am happy with this one for the time being.
Sound
I really have no comparison to tell whether or not this particular melodica has a superior/inferior sound. To my ear, it sounds fine. It is what I expected.
Features
I was pleased that the instrument came with a nice case. It also came with a longer tube to be used in place of the mouthpiece. I, personally, have difficulty in controlling the airflow with the tube. I am a singer, so it probably has to do with a mind set about filling that long tube. I enjoy the short mouthpiece more.
Ease of Use
It's great! I've had a lot of fun with it. I noticed that the finger placement has to be nearer the outside end of the keys than to the top of the keys. This has required a bit of adjustment due to the way I hold the instrument. Had a bit of trouble getting Middle C to play initially, but I have a feeling this was operator error.
Quality
Other than the previously mentioned problem with Middle C, I have had no problems with the instrument. It's portable and fun. Great if I just need to sightread something and don't have access to a piano or organ.
Value
I priced the instrument on the internet. This seemed to be the best price around.
Manufacturer Support
Have had no need to contact them.
The Wow Factor
Sorry - I don't attach any "sex appeal" to the instrument.

"Zzounds and this Melodica are great!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Great little portable, self powered musical item, that sounds a cross between a harmonica/accordion...reed instrument, but plays like a keyboard. Awesome. I have to say I ordered a different one from a competitor and never got it. Zzounds had this to me in 3 days, standard shipping. I love this company. Thanks Zzounds!
Sound
It sounds great, especially for the price. Not quite as good as the $80 smaller one, but very good.
Features
It comes with a nice soft case, slightly reinforced. It's a little big...but it's easier to play. The tube is nice for learning to 'get used to it'.
Ease of Use
It is, what it is.
Quality
Feels alright for such an inexpensive item. Kind of toyish, but it's a great value for the $$.
Value
Great value.
The Wow Factor
I saw it, which made me want one.
