It is made well, sounds great. Handles timecodes on Virtual DJ very well, and has other inputs and outputs I needed. I picked this because I use Virtual DJ to mix video, and music... and need good sound quality and a good product that works with Virtual DJ out of the box.
Sound
I really like the features of this unit over the old Hercules mixer sound cards. No latency problems yet.
Features
yep, came with cables, really nice quality of product from them. The led's on this work very well! dials are stable, strong and the casing is meant for the road.
Ease of Use
Great ease of use, installed well on x32. Had a few problems trying to get it installed on my x64, but after a couple of times got it installed over my old Hercules software. They could provide a bit more help with x64 scenario's. Over all, virtual dj picks it up well, controls virtual dj without any problem so far, and no need to use asio stuff now!
Quality
So far looks good, sounds good, haven't broke it yet, and like the casing...which is strong enough to handle any drunk party-goer coming into my DJ booth.
Value
I'll go with a 9 since it still is a bit pricey, but I really like the quality. It would always be nicer to have a cheaper product!
Manufacturer Support
Well it has been a while, my only issue with their support is accessing their servers sometimes for updates. going to their site is somewhat tedious, at the old site was...trying to find the right firmware, software and stuff. But under win7 this works very well!
The Wow Factor
I really like what they've done with the lights, they work very well, usb lights are also on this unit. As well, everything is stable, functional. And feels better than some of their older products ie the first "dj console" Hercules made!

"I own it, it owns the house!"

THIS IS THE BEST SOUNDCARD FOR THE MONEY! Seriously, all the features, the sound, the build quality, the looks - its the best!
Sound
I own the Deejay Trim 4&6 since december 2010 (now its september 2011) and its rocking my house. This is the USB card that I was dreaming of, and it still is!
Features
Man, you can hook up that thing to almost anything! Turntables, computers, all kinds of players, microphones, geadphones....you name it!
Ease of Use
That thing is VERY easy to use, once you read the manual (its straightforward, well written).
Quality
The quality is superb! -volume knobs are sturdy, feel really high-quality -switches are reinforced (I got a newer model, not a little different from that on the photo) and its built like tank! Here is a picture, notice the difference: http://www.virtualdj.com/image/46754/15014/IMG_0006.JPG -all USB ports are sturdy -mic-knob is awesome (noiseless, has LED lights on it, just awesome) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY --- THE DRIVERS and the SOFTWARE are perfectly working, no bugs, no glitches, never had problems with it! Rund perfectly under Windows 7 x64, playback never stops!
Value
For the money - this thing is just perfect!
Manufacturer Support
I had to ask in the herculess deejay forums about the ASIO output, how to make foobar2000 work with it in ASIO mode. They answered in 5 minutes to my post and I got it to work :)))))))
The Wow Factor
If it ever fails, I'd buy it again! If a newer model becomes available, I'd think twice - hell, some newer stuff tends to get worse than the first model. I will just stick with that, its proven to be reliable!
