This is so far been a fantastic purchase!!! I received it, as promised, the next day and set up was a breeze. I have been an acoustic player for over 2 decades but recently branched out into playing an electric for shows. This is obviously a daunting prospect for a newcomer with a myriad of pedal options, amp options, and the like, but this pedal gives you everything you need to play multiple electric guitar rig set ups, which with a touch screen,(LOVE LOVE LOVE this feature, btw!!!) every tone option is literally at your fingertips!! The amp presets are super useful and give you preloaded pedal and amp combos in which everything is customizable!! This pedal allows me to keep with my minimalist approach on stage allowing to run right into my PA and ditch the heavy Marshall Combo I was using before(The plexi tone sounds great!!) The MX-5 can replace your whole pedal board and really streamline your footprint without sacrificing tone. What a wonderful option and well worth the price!!

Consider buying this Reasonably priced product before you go out and buy a ton of pedals. You just might find that this will get you very close to that goal of your perfect sound.

I’ll start by saying…pedals on multifx are useless unless used as a volume pedal…I have a boss me-80, which i thought is incredible …you get the stomp box circuits…excellent tones in a mostly analog multifx…I’ve never been a fan of the headrush..at first because all the Eleven Racks it replaced dropped in price drastically, but i missed out..and i loved its front panel design…With the MX5…your getting a quadcore processor in an FX pedal.. it’s not an i7 processor..My first thoughts were, i’ve got a lot of resding and YouTube videos…Thats ok, done it before …First impression is..this little bad boy is packed with features, it’s got a 3 button selection section and a 4” touch screen..i thougjt this would be too small, espyfor my blind eyes…but it’s rugged and with a couple cables added in, you can put it in a soft guitar case pocket…if the venue has a PA..this is all you need..Stereo outputs and fx loop…so i can throw a certain few pedals i must have… theres a usb port for direct recording, additional expression pedal out…1/8” phones out, aux in and midi in and outThis bad boy is packed with so many FX’s and amp models…theres a split path as well…I can just say…with the ZZound payment plan and a $500 price tag, with it’s processor, amp models and fx models….And did i mention it was a touch screen…This is worth every penny…I may add more once i play with it linger

I'm 1 of the icky guys who got one right away several months ago. It wad $399 through zZounds. They're now $499. And worth at least double that in my eyes. I also have a full Helix amd a Helix Stomp. Skip those get this. Literally the best money I've ever spent on ANY piece of equipment in decades of playing. I'm not going to point out all the features. I'm just going to say this. GET ONE NOW...

Well I am amazed of the hands on functions of this unit , I originally had the line 6 hx stomp box and returned it for this unit due to the ease of use right out of the box first off. Construction built very well, and the effects are sweet! My next step will be to start the editing on the pc , but over all very happy with it and the amp models.

I love this pedal. It genuinely made me play more, and the amount of creative expression available is limitless. That is until it stopped working all together. Randomly, after owning for about 3 months, the screen started going black and the machine became unresponsive. This was a month ago, and I’ve yet to receive my replacement from headrush, however about 10 days of that was my fault for waiting to get the box out of storage to make the return. However I shouldn’t have needed to do that, but I digress lol the customer support for headrush has a turnaround time of 2-4 weeks, so if you get this pedal and end up needing to return it, be prepared for that. As much as I love the product, as of now it’s really hard for me to recommend it.
