I had a couple upcoming lead guitar gigs & I needed an amp modeler with a quick and easy user interface to get the tone I was looking for. This Headrush gig board was PERFECT and sounded amazing from the moment I plugged it in! It really shines through with the amazing Pre-Sets, a great automatic gate control(perfect for my single coil strat) & the same smooth creamy tone as any tube amp(but more reliable). If anyone is looking for an amp modeler and can't decide between the Line 6 Helix or this one; then hopefully this review will get you over the edge and have you pick the headrush today!

I Love it!!! Open box, plugged it in and just started jamming!!! If you can use a smartphone or a IPad then this should be no problem to operate. It’s easier then my GT100 to use. To me the sounds are good. You are not forced to use factory settings, that’s why they included the Touchscreen so You can edit the sounds and a USB cable to download more sounds that you may like. Worth the price. It’s fun and not heavy to lug around. It can fit into a 15” laptop case with room for plugs too. I do wish though I could find a fitted hard case for it though. Get it!!!!

I do lots of research before making any purchase. It was past time to upgrade from my Line 6 X3 Live. Other contenders: Fractal AX8/FM3, Kemper, Line 6 Helix LT/HX Stomp, Boss GT-1000, Mooer, Hotone...I’ve had a HeadRush Pedalboard, Fractal AX8. The Fractal is amazing and if theFM3 were available and I could afford it, it would be my top choice.I chose the HR because it is affordable, Fun to play (more than any amp/modeler I’ve ever played), Ease of use, 11 blocks for amps, cabs, effects, etc... (This is way more than Fractal, HX Stomp and others offer). 7 inch touch screen is brilliant.According to many reviewers, the sounds are not better than Fractal, Kemper, Line 6, but I feel they are all close enough in the ballpark, and all of the above reasons Ilisted, make it the one for me.

This thing is awesome..ampeg amp sims. Ampeg cabs... everything about this is awesome.. it is kinda tricky to figure out.. but once you do. You will be ok...

I owned the Pod Pro X HD...The Helix...DV MARK MultiAmp...THE HEADRUSH GIGBOARD IS THE MOST INTUITIVE,EASY TO USE,KILLER Next Generation Guitar Modeler I have Ever Owned. Go to YouTube..Listen..And You'll DEFINITELY WANT TO GET YOUR HANDS ON ONE! I can't say enough GOOD things about it and Anything I could say wouldn't do it Justice. got this yesterday..was blown away by the realness of the amp models and effects...everything sounds organic...just remember to leave your IR's on...and your mic sim on axis and youre golden.love the ascthetic of the modeler.the colors..the accessibility of the the parameters on the touch screen.this is too nice to be on the floor...will recommend and buy again in the future.thanks zZounds for taking care of me fast,and for having awesome staff.
