Let me start by saying your DJ controller does not need a flight case if you are spending more on the case than your rig. This is not an entry level case, but it has some learning curve if you’ve never used a flight case before. First there’s no instructions on how to properly fit your gear and store things correctly/efficiently. Your cables will have ample room in the back part, and there are two foam inserts which I presume are for your jogwheels. The outside case has a sticker that states, ensure all latches are undone before opening, this is essential as if you try to open the case without doing so you will bend the lock holders. Next, this case has no laptop stand or slide out, so not really a huge deal since the RX3 is a standalone unit. This is a case made for travel, you will have to store the top part of the case when not in use, unfortunately you can’t really stack the bottom on the top part of the case like you can with most flight cases, so this is truly a hard case with a slick finish with a unique honey comb pattern which is what gives this case a 5* for wow factor, the lack of instructions or guides for the case are the reason for my deductions. Bear in mind you are supporting an American business and I will buy more products from headliner pro. 4.5/5My only deductions come from some of the lack of instruction, the fact that you can’t stack the top and bottom halves when you’re using the unit out of the case, this is definitely more suit for DJs who travel frequently as it can be setup and taken down in less than a minute.
