"Awesome tuners !!!"

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I received these a day early which was nice. I put these on a 2021 Epiphone Hummingbird Studio the only thing I had to do was drill the two mounting screws. They gave the guitar a more vintage look which is what I was going for!!! I will soon order another set for my 2012 Epiphone Dot!!! So far, they seem to keep the guitar in tune very well, I am well pleased with my purchase!!!
Sound
Sound quality doesn't apply, the tuners don't help with the sound, but the new strings sure did help!!!
Features
These tuners really gave the guitar a more vintage look.
Quality
These really seem to be well made, they by no means have a cheap feel to them.
Value
Other name brands seem to charge twice as much, You really get your money's worth with Grover Tuners, I will order more.
Manufacturer Support
I have had Grover tuners on other guitars and really think the are some of the best on the market.
The Wow Factor
Even though I didn't need these tuners (there were already Grovers on the guitar) but they gave the guitar a lot better look!!!!

"Great Tuners"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I put these on my Epiphone Hummingbird Studio, replacing the factory tuners even though they were Grovers as well, just not with the vintage look that these have. These look great and they fit perfectly. All I had to do was drill the 2-mounting screw holes which was no big deal. These tuners stay in tune very well. I will order another set soon for my 2006 Epiphone Dot (335)
Quality
Very well made.
Value
Other tuners cost 2 times as much as some don't have the quality these do, they are great product at half the price!!!
The Wow Factor
I give these 10 stars they a great product and they really give my guitar a vintage look.!!!

"For sg 400 works fine. Easy to do!"

Put these on a epiphone sg 400, drop right in. You will have to make another hole on each spot on the back to screw them in , at least I had to since mine only had one screw hole on each tuner. I really like the vintage look!! Just put them in line em up, tighten the nut then use a thin small drill bit to start each hole or something to start the hole so you can screw them in easier and not risk stripping the screws.
