Got my M-20 back in December, 2024. I was great out of the box, didn't need a set up, which is more than I can say for other guitars that I have bought. After a while of playing it, something was troubling to me. I couldn't put my finger on it, but something was bothering me.I tried to contact Guild,( good luck with that.), and got nowhere. I was initially trying to register the guitar for warranty, but to no avail. Finally, it dawned on me, what the problem was. It wasn't the guitar, it was the strings. I usually like D Adaddario strings, but on this guitar, they weren't making it. I changed to Martin retro light 11-52 strings and yoink!!!! The guitar became a dream! Now I'm playing the heck out of it every night. The bottom end is tighter, and the trebles sing.If you by one of these, experiment with different strings. You won't be disappointed.
