I can def say I'm impressed with the quality of the "Gretsch Energy Drum Set." Everything comes with it (cymbals, hi hats, drum pedal, cymbal hardware, a drum key and drum sticks. Fast Shipping! I highly recommend this "complete kit" to anyone thats serious about owning a drum set and can't afford your dream kit. I own the "Ruby Red Sparkle Finish Kit." I Love It! Played my first Top40 gig with it on this past Saturday and i must say it looks and sounds great. With a few mods (moon gels and a drum key) here and there, you can't go wrong. You'd be surprise what kind of sound you get by replacing the old drumheads with some new ones and with a purchase of a new set of some quality cymbals.....RECIPE FOR YOUR DREAM KIT Thanks zZounds for making this happen.

I'm a guitar player who wanted to get into drumming and I gotta say I was surprised when this kit arrived. Everything feels pretty high quality while also sounding quite good.The cymbals also feel solid and sound great. So overall this exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier. If your looking for a good kit then this will definitely satisfy.

Chances are that you came here because you thought you were getting the whole package. Which is true but only to a certain degree. The cymbals are the weak link here. The Ride is ok, not the best but ok. The 13" Hi-Hats & Crash are terrible though. They sound cheap You'll have to replace these immediately if you want a decent sound. Save up for some Bronze cymbals. The drums themselves are actually really great. The hardware isn't bad either. I would recommend this kit if you didn't come here for the cymbals like I did. Otherwise, get those drums that you really originally wanted.
