I was a little hesitant about purchasing this guitar, but I told myself that if I did not like it I could always return it. I have more expensive hollow-bodies, but this one feels good, plays extremely well and looks fantastic. The picture is a little misleading it shows as a flatter finish, but it is actually a high gloss finish. Gretsch did an excellent job with the set-up , all I had to do was tune and play. Buy it you will not be disappointed!!!!

I am very pleased with the quality and tone of this axe for an amazing price. I have some higher end guitars and the pickups sound close to a P90. The bridge has some spank. But big and fat also. Two thumbs up!

Musical Background:

I have been playing for years , and play in the Iron Roots band

Musical Style:

Classic rock

this is a great guitar, Gibson wishes they could make a guitar this good. Out of the box very playable, no sharp frets, intonation was spot on, I love the push pull master volume that splits the coils, not even mention in this Gretsch ad Pickups are very hot, the single coil sound is filtertron all the way. the fret work is great with low action. the guitar is very light. just a beautiful finish. do your self a favor and try this guitar, do not waste your money on the low quality, over priced Gibson brand.
