I’ve had the Epiphone Broadway and the Ovation Celebrity. I was looking at the Ibanez George Benson. I played a Gretsch Country Gentleman on all my gigs in the 70’s. So I’m a big Gretsch fan. This guitar outplays them all. The electronics are fabulous. I’m going to go to 10 gauge strings. The 12’s are a little tough. This guitar has a big bold sound. We’ll set up and easy to play.

If you can handle the immense of the guitar, it gives you a great sound. It’s well built. The neck is smooth. The Fretz are done well. Gretsch paid attention to the bill quality very easy to play. I am a Gretsch player. I picked it up used in great condition very inexpensive so I didn’t expect much, but now it sounds so good. I have it in every day rotation. I never liked the look of the white falcon, but everybody else does so I guess I’m not going to care about a white guitar. I’m a gentleman kind of guy. But if you buy one of these, you will get all your moneys worth . It’s a very good guitar.
