Just received this guitar, and wow, is it gorgeous! You wouldn't know it is a "poor man's Country Gentleman". The quality control is obviously top notch from Gretsch these days'. I'm a musician who does my pun set ups on my guitars and am very picky to get them near perfect. This guitar was set up nearly perfect when I received it and did very minimal adjusting to my own preferences; but there's no need to pay for a set up with this guitar. I'm loving this guitar! 5 stars easily! ( haven't had to call mfg support, so...?)

It was everything I could have expected especially at this price point and then some.Fit and Finish is excellent, set up was very good, tone from the Broadtron Blaktop pickups was what I wanted. If you always wanted a Country Gentleman well this is as close as you can get without spending thousands.Glad I bought it and I am never looking back.Manufacturer support.. Gretsch is owned by Fender so it should be as good as it gets zZounds is always top drawer to deal with
