This cajon is very well made and sounds amazing when played correctly. The slanted face makes it very easy to play while also being comfortable to play.

"Snappy Snare and Nice Low End"

I have had this cajon for about a year and I love it. The snare sound is one of the nicest I've heard. It's not particularly bass heavy but you can get some thump out of it. The snare sound does occupy a lot of the front region but that's not noticeable when playing with other musicians. The bass does come through with out a lot of effort. If you need more bass, mic it. The back hole is perfect for mics. I find it to be an incredibly dynamic sounding drum and love playing it. Looks great too.

Musical Background:

Playing professionally off and on for 20 years. Playing cajon since 2017.

Musical Style:

Cover tunes mostly. Pop, rock, blues, 80's, etc.

"El Toro Rules"

Got the Gon Bops El Toro based on rave reviews. A fantastic drum of very high quality. The snare sound is superb. Not adjustable and I wouldn't want to. Perfect. It has at least four distinct sounds: bass, mid, mid snare in the top middle and high snare in the top corners. The bass is fantastic and deep. Quality is superb. The modern black finish almost obscures the beautiful dove tail joints of the great smelling Peruvian Mohena wood at the top and bottom. Nice case included. Look no further.

Musical Background:

Amateur double bass player of ten year. New Cajon playe.

Musical Style:

Traditional Latin percussion. Classical double bass.
