This guitar is worth every penny of the purchase price, and then some. It sounds great, it plays easy, and the satin finish looks and feels amazing. The volume projects like crazy and the onboard electronics are a plus. This is by far the best acoustic in this price range I've ever picked up. It was my first guild but definitely won't be my last.

Fingers quite well right out of the box (need to lower the action though) I'm impressed at how well she can whisper and boom as you will. The neck is a breeze for cording and the picking is true and will punch as much as you like without bottoming out. My top is two shades. It does not match on both sides ☹. Giving it an aged appearance. I got this for playing, not for looking at though. I'm keeping her! The tone is very pleasing and every acoustic guitar has its own accent. I love the tone of this one. She has been on my lap for an hour or so now and we are in love. If you are thinking of dating one of her sisters I would recommend that. But this one is MINE!

Great sound plugged in and unplugged. Setup and action out of the box exceeded my expectations. Would recommend this guitar to players of all skill levels. It came with a really nice gig bag as well. Best bang for your buck!

"Guild is Good"

This is actually my second Guild purchase this year, after picking up a Guild Troubadour earlier this year. As an avid acoustic guitar player, I was needing something well-rounded, and after playing this guitar several times at a local guitar store, I bit the bullet and ordered off zZounds, as the Pay-as-You-Play option is extremely helpful for someone like me on a budget. It actually came down between this guitar and a Taylor Mini, but I preferred the tone and playability of this particular guitar. My only gripe would be, I expected a Guild gig bag to be included, as another review stated, and seeing as my last Guild guitar included one. It's not a huge deal breaker, just would have been extremely useful. Otherwise, for the price, this is a fantastic guitar.

This guitar is amazing and for the price you really can't buy a better, nicer sounding guitar. I purchased a Taylor 114ce from Zzounds and had it stolen so I needed a new guitar quickly and looked at all the guitars and since I've always wanted a Guild and didn't have a ton of money to spend at the present this is the guitar I kept coming back to and eventually got and I am glad I did. It is quite a bit cheaper than the Taylor and sounds/plays better. It's got more low end and rings clearer. I've been playing for a long time and I can tell you that this is a great guitar for the price. I plan on getting another Guild because this one convinced me that Guild makes great guitars.

I recently purchased this guitar and i was torn between this and the Taylor 110. I chose this in the hopes that it would play anywhere near my old Guild D50 that was stolen years ago and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Right out of the box the guitat sounded great. Great action, tone and overall sound! The electronics are conveniently placed near the soundhole and are clystal clear. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years professionally and will tell you, this guitar sounds like something worth at least twice as much! Oh, and it comes with really nice deluxe Guild gig bag!

"Not so good experience"

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars

Firstly the guitar had to be returned for a fault with the pick up, came back working great until decided to change the strings & the nut flew off, no sign of any adhesive at all ? should i have to stick it down when its hardly been used? also on inspection 1 tuning peg doesn't seem as secure as the others? Honestly disappointed in this so far . Taking back to the shop tomorrow .
