"Wonderful, Beautiful Tone and Elegance"

The guitar plays perfectly, it sounds wonderful. The build quality is exceptional, a great nitrocellulose finish and a wonderful array of gold plated parts. It is more beautiful in person than online here. The vibrola tremolo is great for subtle surf twang but if you try to get crazy with it the guitar goes out of tune easily. It isn't made for that anyway really. If you want that then get a Floyd Rose tremolo. The feel of the neck is perfect and is close to the 61 Gibson SG style I own as well. Look, if you love SGs then this guitar is for you because the tone is amazing. It has that perfect classic rock tone from the 57 Classic Plus bridge pickup and with the 57 Classic in the neck and middle you have the best jazz sounds and tones ever. Think vintage Les Paul guitar style playing and some great jazz as well. Blues, good lord .... it sings the blues. The sustain is amazing. The note or chord will hold and ring for so long. I am absolutely in love with this purchase. For the guitar itself, the weight is heavier than a regular SG of course given the hardware but it also balances the guitar out as you don;t have that neck SG dive from the body being so light on a normal SG here with this one. It feels like you're holding something special. zZounds got here in perfect shape also.

I ordered the product a few weeks ago and received it two days later. I had been searching for another SG besides my 2016 standard and 2003 model. I had 1 major requirement, it had to have a Vibrola or Bigsby. Now most reviews of the sideways Vibrola state that they have major tuning issues, but so far, i have not had any. Playing for a minimum of an hour a day the guitar has stayed in tune and kept correct intonation with only minor adjustments to it and the action right out of the box. Aside from this there is one major thing to notice about the guitar, it has the third Humbucker, which at first, is an adjustment if you are usually used to picking with only the two. Sound wise, it is much deeper than both my other SGs. I notice that with my Marshall amp, i can really dial in the famous Eric Clapton "Woman Tone" he used on Disraeli Gears for songs like Sunshine of your love. Overall the guitar has been excellent. Plus there are only ~200 made!

I purchased this guitar, and in every sense of the word it sound absolutely beautiful. With that being said tuning is still an issue with this vibrola big issue which i am sure most were expecting. The quality control on my guitar was not up to the par i would expect for the price. There was black stain on showing on my binding on my neck 2 good smears of it. I was disappointed about that truly. Sounds good, but very unpractical very poor quality build. I also have a martin, and a Ibanez SA prestige. Both of those guitars have much better finishing, and attention to detail.

This one is a gem. One which will be copied by other companies. The guitar will go up in value and one which players will be looking for in the future. The neck is nice and beefy but easy to move around from the low to high registers quickly. The pick ups are amazing and very well balanced. My only complaint is no coil tap but that is it. The weight of the guitar is balanced and comfortable for practice or full gigs. If you have the coin grab these before they disappear.

Excellent SG. Excellent build quality, 57' pups, balance and feel to the hand. The tremolo does have issues, however I have been able to adjust it (and adjust to it). The feel of the neck and frets is amazing, much better than expected. Finish is flawless, case is very good. The sound of the 57'+ pups into a Blues Junior III is creamy good tone!

One of the most beautiful guitars I've ever touched. May be the best playing guitar I ever played too. My first impression with sharper horns than what I was expecting was 95% sure I was sending it back. Didn't like the middle pu being on all the time. Played with it some, learned there are 3 vol, 1 tone and the middle pu could be turned all the was down and out and the neck & bridge pus go quiet at just over 1/2 way down. Game changer. Wow it sounds good. The trem works pretty good, it does throw the tuning out sometimes, I don't use it much. The action is so low you can put a heavy pick between the string at the 12th fret and it will stay. Awesome looking shade of black too. Looks so retro

Ok, You Have 45 Days To Asses If you want to keep this guitar, (actually I think you will) so if you don't want to waste your time trying to keep those Gibson Strings replace with oh I don't know say, Elixirs! and then you can get down to what the Hell ya just bought! so far it's Smooth up and down the neck and resonates with tone. I'm going to get all the extra details in this 2 part review, but folks first things first CHANGE THE STRINGS! Peace Out!

Ok, I'll Admit that I bought this fiddle because It's beautiful and I've always wanted another SG since I was very irresponsible back in '73 when I sold mine(wonder what it would have been worth today). So I plug this baby in and just started doing some simple lead Rhythm and fell in love as it's smooth with action and I can imagine what it's potential will be when I get those Gibson Strings off and string it up with some Elixer's anyway I'm happy and that's what matters.
