I'm always on the look-out for new and unusual instruments Gibson seems to consistantly produce fine products. I own several new and classic examples and this SG is a wonderful addition.
Sound
This SG was just what I needed to round out my stage setup. It has a bright character with lots of crunch and sustain it looks great and it is much lighter than my LP. It needed a bit of setup out of the box (truss rod, bridge and intonation) but overall it's a keeper!

Well Built with a very nice finish

With a fairly busy touring schedule I need instruments that are durable (they live in a road case on the truck) reliable, look great, and don't cost more than the national debt. This SG was a good choice.
