As I mentioned earlier, Ive been playing an Ibanez s470 for a lot of years now, sow Im very used to their killer tremelo system that the maestro doesnt match. But it does stay in tune and the overall fit of this SG makes the Ibanez fell like a toy. I especially like the access to the higher frets and the overall feel of the neck. Small hands!
Sound
Plugged in or not, I'm truly enjoying the sound of this guitar. I've mostly owned strats and Ibanez and not to diss those guitars but this sweet lady has tone!
Features
This guitar comes with a Gibson hardcase that has the softest white, plush lining. Its designed to snugly hold the guitar so it doesnt move around. You have to push down on the guitar a bit to get into the case properly. No scuff marks!
Ease of Use
Lets see. take out of beautiful case , plugged in . e chord . yep its a Gibson. way easy and smooth
Quality
What can I say. its beautiful! The only thing is that the tremelo arm squeaks. Wait, I'll break it in!
Value
In one word YES, its worth every penney I paid for it and if I dont give myself a heart attack from playing too long it will probably increase in value!!!!!
Manufacturer Support
No reason so far to call customer support.
The Wow Factor
The antique cherry is much more attractive than the pictures show! Its so glossy I feel like a fish chaing a lure!

This guitar brings together all the things I wanted in a guitar. The neck feels great, its a 61' SG Junior neck on a 67' SG Standard body. It needs a better cut nut, but thats all. The humbuckers sound fantastic. The lyre works for vibrato and will stay in tune if the nut is cut properly, I'm using teflon tape on it right now to keep it in tune. For the guy that doesn't know how to put it in the case without the trem arm breaking, you turn it "up" until its resting on the top of the tailpiece.

"not worth the money."

if stolen, I'd buy something else.
maybe an SG with p90's for much less.
Sound
not overly impressed with this guitar or the sound honestly.
maybe with lots of distortion it may sound good but I find it a bit thin
when playing clean. not much in the low end, lacking a good bassy sound.
Features
coil tap or phase switch or whatever.. yeah, it sounds good when both pickups are on but buzzes like hell!
the Maestro vibrato isn't that great, goes out of tune all the time and the plastic end on the arm is already breaking from being pushed down when in the case.. great idea Gibson!
Ease of Use
I have had issues with the frets, being a player of Fender and Mosrite's I found the medium jumbo frets to be quite annoying.
Quality
beautiful finish and quality on this guitar! looks great but I'm not impressed with the guitar it's self.
Value
save your money in my opinion.
it looks great but I bought an Agile 3100 that walks all over this thing.
Manufacturer Support
Gibson didn't return any emails about the fact that the guitar didn't come with the Roby Kreiger painted back cover..
I had to contact zzounds who told me Gibson would contact me and send me the right backing plate.
still haven't heard from Gibson or received the cover......
The Wow Factor
beautiful guitar but just like beautiful women, it has issues..
