"Gibson VooDoo LP"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I love the sound I get from it now W/EMG's. I'll keep it just for that alone. Once I get it setup how I like my guitars, I'm sure I'll keep it. I may paint over the retarded skull thing.
Sound
The first thing I had to do was change the P-Ups. Lots of highs, good harmonics and forever sustain, but no lows, terrible clean, and cunfused sounding dirty. Not what I like for metal and rock.... EMG'S ZW have made a mega improvement to sound. This guitar NOW sounds better than any I have ever owned. Sound was 5 now 10
Features
Always the best from Gibson in this area.
Quality
No loose parts. Very solid.
Value
Could be better
Manufacturer Support
Never needed it, but I hear they are great.
The Wow Factor
I got it. The look is very cool with the black/red finish, but I don't like the goofy skull on the fret board. I wish I could get rid of that. It looks even better with the black p-ups. I love that it is lighter than other LP's, and the tone remains killer!

"A different and perfect guitar"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If you like something different you will like it. It sounds very nice and the quality is superb. It's expensive but if you want a good Les Paul you have to pay for a Gibson.
Sound
Its sound is amazing for all type of music. You can get sweet sound from the neck pickup and a heavy sound from the bridge one.
Features
It includes a very sexy case and the best Gibson quality.
Quality
I hope it is very well made as it's a Gibson. The guitar looks perfect and it came with all the quality control papers.
Value
I know it's a Gibson but it's expensive...
Manufacturer Support
I didn't use it
The Wow Factor
The Voodoo is VERY BEAUTIFUL and even if you don't play heavy music you will like it. It's different but not custom, if you know what I mean.

"Get Yours Before It's Too Late!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

I'd have to say that I just love this Axe! Everything about just OOZES Rock and Roll! If you're looking for a unique guitar and are familiar w/ Les Paul's you better try and grab one before they're all gone!.....
Sound
I've read many reviews and alot of them state how the pickups aren't performing a certain way. I have to say I own a Zakk Custom Paul and this Stock VooDoo pickup configuration Rocks right along side my Zakk! I have no complaints what so ever about her sound and playability. The Ebony fret board is super smooth and responsive to harmonics like no one's business and the light weight doesn't take away from her sustain or heavy sound. It's too bad they've discontinued this model but I'm just glad I finally got one!
Features
The finish on the back of the neck makes it so your hand doesn't stick to it once you've been playing her for a while unlike my Alpine White Custom Les Paul. The action/playability is amazing just like my other Les Pauls.
Quality
The finish on the guitar is one of a kind especially for Gibson. I don't know what they'll do next to try and top this series of Les Paul's but this one definitely is in a class by itself.
Value
This guitar is worth every penny and more for the overall package this bad boy brings to the table every time I plug it in.
The Wow Factor
I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and this Les Paul is definitely a cool addition to my Collection.
