I expect to enjoy this guitar for a very long time...! seems like a severe keeper to me!
Sound
This Bonamassa Les Paul has an awesome tone! and I'm not just sayin'... thru a clean channel...maybe a little compression, a little delay for ear candy...it sparkles! click in the distortion pedal...and then boost that, and it's Les Paul rock-n-roll heaven!
Features
features? i guess i would say the whole thing is a useful feature! the guitar body and neck... the pickups, which give the guitar a great sound. The Gibson hard-shell case is excellent...
Ease of Use
The guitar I got was very playable right out of the box. absolutely perfect for my tastes. I have not needed to set it up, which is unusual. perhaps the previous owner did a great set-up. The guitar I got was a BLEM.. previously owned... with barely anything wrong with it... looked fairly perfect to me...!!! yay me...
Quality
The quality feels great on this Les Paul. I have checked other new Les Paul's at my local store... some of them feel cheap light and cheesy (mostly the studio and tribute models). this one ROCKS; feeld heavy, and I love the color scheme! I had been wanting a gold-top for a while... and this one is a way-cooler gold=top-style Les Paul, in my opinion, compared to the standard Gold-tops...and way cheaper!!! well-worth the money
Value
Excellent value even at full price!! get one NOW! these are awesome Les Pauls! especially with the fact that it comes with the Gibson Hard-shell case!!!
Manufacturer Support
have not had to use it...but I imagine it would be good, at the least.
The Wow Factor
very sexy guitar... very beautiful... get one!!!

"Awesome guitar...modeled after one of today's most talented musician's own personal guitar."
Sound
Maybe have the capability to split the humbuckers? Push and pull pots would make it more versatile.
Quality
I had an early 90's les Paul premium classic in the past. The quality ofworkmanship was horrible. The bindings and inlays were sloppy and the weight? It was like a ton of bricks!! With this new model, Gibson has really showed that their quality level is a top priority now. I normally only play Prs's...but this Joe Bonamassa studio has really got me interested in Gibson again.
