Its been hard to be a Gibson fan before 2019. I have since bought 5 new ones, all from zZounds. I dont have all 5 anymore. This one isnt going anywhere!! This might be the best one yet! Not a flaw, and the guitar is light, and very resonant. I dont often leave reviews, but I do read them before I buy. I read a couple dozen reviews of this guitar, some were not flattering at all. I cant speak for any other LP DC's, but if this is representative of most or all the guitars in this model, I strongly advise buying one. It is rather expensive, but worth every dime to me. I'm fairly certain Gibson can justified this cost. The top Is 2 piece I think, though its very hard to be sure, and the finger board is nice dark rosewood as I had hoped, and certainly not the case with a few others I have had lately. Fit and finish are spot on, frets are all right, and very smooth, obviously, care has been taken at the factory, to insure everything is right. Its even better than I had hoped for sound wise, and that is why I am writing this review. zZounds is always a pleasure to deal with, and no acception this time. If you are on the fence with this guirar, Go for it!!
