One word: Amazing. The fit and finish on this 50's Les Paul Gold Top is Custom Shop quality! It arrived from zZounds overnight in perfect condition and ready to play out of the box. None of the old Gibson issues that plagued the old management. Gibson is officially back and these Les Pauls will become the benchmark and hallmark of the company's turnaround. I am known for sending guitars back if one little thing is off. This one stays and has moved to the top of my collection.

I’ve played quite a few Gibson Les Pauls over the last 10-15 years, and this goldtop is by far the best sounding Les Paul I’ve ever played! Flawless QC. Blown away!

"Bucket List. Best guitar ever"

This guitar has long been on my bucket list. Mike Ness is one of my favorite guitar players and I owned a MIK Epiphone 56 Reissue that was great and this has always been the Holy Grail. It exceeds all expectations. The build quality is beyond superb. Right out of the box, the case is next level and the factory nailed everything. The next, frets, tuners, all perfect. The finish is dazzling. The weight let's you know how big of a sound this thing will throw at you and when you plug it in, wow. I'm playing through a Marshall Origin 50 and clean or with overdrive it's just everything I have always wanted. This guitar isn't cheap, but it's worth every dime and it will be with me until the day I die and after that hopefully a child or grandkid will take it. Gibson is amazing.

This guitar is incredible. I have two other Les Pauls and I like them. This one adds a sound that's amazing. I love the hot pickups. This paired with a great tube amp is outstanding. The quality is perfect as was the setup right out of the box. This is a keeper! Well done, Gibson! You’re back.

The most responsive guitar I’ve played especially at this price point! The 50s neck is comfortable to play and the action is unbelievable. The clean tones sparkle and when you crank up the gain you still have the same amount of clarity. Buy this guitar, you will be thrilled.
