First Gibson, and glad it’s mine soon. Took advantage of payment plan as many of us do. I couldn’t have it otherwise. Thankful. I own a Mexican Strat, and it does the job, but missed the Les Paul sound of an old Epiphone Les Paul Standard I played previously. I can’t afford the Gibson Les Paul standard (even with payment plan), so I chose this 2019 Junior. The best quality electric guitar I’ve owned was a Parker around the same price range. My first experience with Gibson is absolutely positive. Here’s why: The quality is unbelievable. I use a furniture analogy. We could buy our furniture at Wal-mart, and it may be functional enough, and we may even be happy with it, but if instead we buy at a high quality furniture store, we can expect the furniture to better impress, and we have the confidence it is strong, and will hold up. This Junior does that for me. I know I am holding a quality piece. In addition, it was well intonated out of box, and stays in tune. Not a loose piece of hardware. Every thing well made. The pickup gives me great tone. Paying this off, and buying many more Gibson’s based of this purchase, and comfortable buying Gibson’s in this price range because I know I’ll still be getting a fine instrument.

This les Paul junior is a guitar that plays, sounds, feel and inspiring to play. I've owned many guitars but none have pleased me except maybe a les Paul Custom. Having said that I must mention that the les Paul Custom is a very heavy guitar, however this junior isn't!! The les Paul junior resonates beautifully (it feels so good against my body ) The wood is porous , giving the impression that it will breathe and age beautifully. Very comfortable to play Amazing note definition and sustain. This guitar will make you play better . Oh , before I end I,m compelled to mention that zZounds is top rated and the best in the Music supply industry. I CAN NOT THANK THEM ENOUGH !!! I can't put this junior down I named my blue stain junior Bluetopia cause that's what it is Now excuse me , I'm going back to bed with my bluetopian les Paul junior

Every time the gear sites start bashing Gibson..i get a new one. This 2019 Gibson LPJ is flawless. Own quite a few & this is the first guitar that i did not have to set up. very picky with neck & action. It came dead on Gibson Specs. The p90's are articulate..can clean up & growl just like they are known for it.. The fit & finish is flawless. Another great Gibson guitar to the stable.

I really can’t stress enough how good this guitar is. It’s a balls-out rock machine, but also cleans up beautifully. The neck profile is the best I’ve ever played on a Gibson and the finish/pickguard is great in person — it’s everything a Junior should be and nothing it shouldn’t. All the chatter about Gibson’s QC issues disappeared for me within 2 minutes of opening the box. Seriously, as soon as zZounds gets more in, pick one up. They’re flying off shelves for a reason.

Holidaze are hear. Will your vixen be on your Thanksgiving table? CHRISTMAS, New Years? Get em while their hot. Cause like pancakes on a cold morning...they may soon be gone...till next time.
Sound
I wondered after hearing reports of less ranged pickups being used by Gibson in this transition period. So I was extremely happy with quality all around but mainly...powerful P-90 front n center.
Features
P-90 front n center most important feature. Excellent! Least...?...Stenciled logo or lack of valute.
Ease of Use
Easy peasy as long as you have some touch and can turn 2 knobs
Quality
Rock solid contruction(for a wooden guitar) Everything works exactly as it should. And ...is beautiful.
Value
I should have kept my SG Junior. Had a chipped nut. Sent back but quality, sound I'd pickup and neck were awesome. She is missed. Guitar will do nothing but increase in value.
Manufacturer Support
Anytime I have questions...from zZounds...nothing but straight answers.
The Wow Factor
Well, as a 'student' so called model... these days people look for more 'bang' buttons, switches for their money. However the good player knows, it mainly in your hands. Fingers.
