BEAUTIFUL GUITAR in satin ocean blue... Overall great guitar. I was originally looking at a model with coil tapping but unfortunately they were sold out BUT that turned out to be a good thing because with the mini humbuckers i can get that classic warm rich sound that Les Paul is famous for and i can get that high twangy crisp sound. So this is the best of both worlds. I was planning on getting a Telecaster later but this guitar takes the place of many! Oh yeah I mostly play gospel music but crank on the distortion and this axe is deadly! It will SCREAM!

Ive been eye balling this particular guitar since last year when i purchased my Gibson Les Paul Signature Player Plus. I pulled the trigger and purchased the Deluxe plus on Cyber Monday (2018). Received the guitar and was disappointed with the Quality Control from Gibson, so i returned it and requested an exchange. Fast forward 40 days later and i received my replacement guitar. Fit and finish on the guitar was better but it would not stay in tune, I replaced the strings and still would not stay in tune. Decided to take it to my trusted luthier and have him give it a once over. After some adjustments he was able to get it in tune. Now that the guitar is were it should be, it plays amazing. You can get some crazy tones off the mini-humbuckers that i did not know was possible. This is my first mini-humbucker guiatr and Im just amazed by the sounds that come out of this thing. This thing is definitely not weight relieved, 100% hefty. Satin finish is smooth and has that vanilla smell that is oh so sweet. Neck profile is exactly how i like it , round smooth, pretty much the same profile thats been used since 2016.

This guitar is a keeper. The mini humbuckers complement the dense mahogany construction. PAF’s with Highend bite. The fretboard is smooth I have zero problems with richlite. The guitar is heavy but I am not playing 2 hour gigs. Gibson still builds quality guitars and this is one of them.

Musical Background:

Mostly home occasionally local giging

Musical Style:
