Gibson Limited Edition Flying V Electric Guitar (with Case)

A guitar that screams rock 'n' roll! This limited-run Gibson Flying V holds true to its roots, but incorporates a thinner body for modern playability.

OK, if you like the feel of the "thin body" V's from the 70's-early 80's like me this is for you! It does not have the skinny 1-9/16 wide nut like the Kalamazoo guitars. Plays very well. Very solid feeling. Two things I would change though. 1 the finish on mine is so thick on the back of the head stock that it's impossible to read the serial number or anything else. That may be just the one I got but it really should not be like that. 2. The fret wire on this guitar is unlike any I have seen on a Gibson ever and I have owned just about every type of solid body they make. Now I'm not bashing! I love Gibson guitars. Just the frets on this one are thin and no where near as high off the fingerboard as I am used to. Now that is just me and my taste. Try one for yourself and if they sell enough of them it may become a standard model!!! Great guitar though.
