It is just a pick, but why crack the case on a $2,500 Les Paul Classic and then break out a Fender or other brand pick lol ? Also the Quality is good, I prefer the medium picks for a little "give" and they just look good along side the Gibson logo on the headstock

"Sure they're just picks, but they're good picks"

Lets face it, they're just guitar picks, but I prefer the Gibson brand. I feel he Fender heavy are too thick and the Fender medium are too thin. The Gibson brand seems denser and the heavy are just right. The beveled edge also gives the string a good attack. I like the tin the picks come in and in my opinion I can't crack the case on my $2k Les Paul and not have a quality pick in the case.

I gave up using these after the 5th pick cut one of my strings. I might get through 2 hours of jamming before I'm tossing these in the garbage. These don't wear down, they begin to chip after just a couple of hours. As though they are made of brittle plastic. Never been more disappointed with a supposed "Gibson" product. Save your money and buy yourself some good ole Dunlop. At least they don't splinter into sharp fragments.
